When asked what his motivation for getting into the finance business he said, “I’ve been training and incubating brick and mortar businesses since 2009, but many of those entrepreneurs I helped all had a universal challenge. They had difficulty acquiring start-up or working capital funding. I felt this move would help close that gap as I aim to become the one-stop resource for entrepreneurs.”
Professor Devin Robinson founded and continues to lead Beauty Supply Institute, where, to date, they have opened 124 stores in America, Canada and the Caribbean, and Urban Business Institute, where they have trained thousands of entrepreneurs nationally and internationally on proper business building approaches in any industry, even working with the Obama Administration.
Urban Business Lending Group is now his latest arm in getting adequate capital in the hands of ambitious entrepreneurs. The Professor stated, “We help get our clients qualified. They are not simply denied and turned away. That’s why we have seen such success this far and expect to grow every calendar year.”
One of the key requirements Urban Business Lending Group has in place is, entrepreneurs must undergo one of two training programs that gets them prepared to run their businesses and manage business finances. Qualifications for approvals and amount funded varies.
