Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has not taken her eyes off of the 2020 presidential election.
In an interview with Crooked Media’s Pod Save America podcast, Abrams said that she is still considering joining the crowded 2020 Democratic field.
“It has been reported that you are still considering joining the ever-growing democratic presidential field. Is that true?” co-host Dan Pfeiffer asked.
“Yes,” she replied.
It was floated around that Abrams would potentially run as Joe Biden’s vice president. However, when asked by reporters about running for vice president she said, “you don’t run for second place.”
She also mentioned that she was “open to a number of options right now.”
