According to Black Enterprise, there are 43 million African Americans in America and the buying power of this group has amassed to $1.1 trillion. Black people in America account for 13.7 percent of the population. With this in mind, we have to be mindful of our spending habits and purposefully support institutions, businesses, and initiatives that are black-owned and operated. There is no use in boycotting businesses that don’t support our humanity if we don’t have a listed of other businesses we can support. With this in mind, we have compiled a short list of business directories and the sites where black people can go and support their own. If you have any questions about the validity of the listings, we encourage you to reach out and contact the website operators or individual businesses. We also encourage you to search through our site and check out our revolutionary, thought provoking apparel.
Note: Some websites may not be fully launched yet. We encourage you to subscribe to their email list and check back later.

Dear Business List Owner,
I am writing on behalf of Cherie Shepherd, President of the National Black Business Owner’s Association. We are reaching out to obtain contact information for the owner of this organization. Our hope is to set up a call in the near future to discuss ways for our organizations to work together and to produce an additional stream of income for you.
Please let me know who I should speak with or email so that I can coordinate a formal meeting.
Thank you.
